How
It All Began…
In response to
the growing number of enthusiastic young members within the Northern
Ireland Cattle Club, in January 2002 it was decided that a special club
should be formed for the under 30’s. From this dedicated group of Youth
Breeders a committee was formed and have played a pivotal role in the
organisation of events such as stock judging competitions, coaching for
stock judging, young handler’s competitions, educational trips and of
coarse, social barbecues and discos. The club has went from strength to
strength under the leadership of Judith McCracken (2002), Jonathon Aiken
(2003), Paul Campbell (2005/6) and Kim Steele-Nicholson (2006). The
Northern Ireland Young Breeders Club has a growing list of 50 members
from across the province. |
