Stock judging kicks off the clubs year in early Spring with coaching sessions, aiming to enhance and develop stock judging skills. Members of the senior Northern Ireland Club kindly put their expertise, premises and stock at our disposal for regional competitions. This year the two heats were at McFarland's and Davidson's farms.  The qualifiers from the events go on to represent the breed at the Royal Ulster Show and Northern Ireland at the Royal Show, each year. Over the years we have achieved numerous successes and stock judging is proving to be a keen area of interest for many young breeders.
